Wilting beetroot leaves

I have a 2nd beetroot that the leaves on it seem to be wilting. I had another do it and they died right back. Any ideas please??

    I have been watering them every 2-3 days trying to avoid the leaves.  Is this not enough. They are only about 2 inches high.

    Its been very warm where I am -- south Yorkshire . I have watered my beetroot plants every day , even though they are very small at the moment.

     Ok, thank you both for your help. It has cooled down a lot here and we had a good rain last night so hopefully they will be safer now.
