    I can see it @PamAdams

Is that a house plant or a garden plant?

Hello @Pam Adams - looks like an arum lily - a coloured one, yellow or deep purple.  Any advance on a lily, gardeners?

Thanks Dovefromabove - Not sure - 'discovered' in the garden so potted whilst decisions are made :/

Thanks Tuikowhai34 - Not sure the 'leaf flecks' give me reason to doubt?

I think you may have it @tuikowhai34 ... I knew it was reminding me of something

Thanks @Dovefromabove  @Pam Adams  White arum lilies have "plain" green leaves, whereas the coloured arums are speckled.  They are also a little more fragile than the white arums.  So pretty in a vase when they are at the "bud" stage.

I think one of the yellow zantedeschias. They tend to have the spotted leaves. The white ones have plain leaves.
