Bugs on fruit tree

One of my patio fruit trees is infested with black bean aphids. Has anyone any idea what I can do about this?

The first thing to try is blasting them off with a hose spray attachment.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

or brush them off between finger and thumb, wearing a rubber glove if you're squeamish ... or use an old two inch paintbrush

I have that too. My poor dwarf cherries. I have been squirting with a neem oil and castile soap water solution. Some of the leaves were so bad and had curled up, and too many bugs for scraping off to be feasible, so I pulled the leaves off, and put them in the kitchen bin. Mistake. The next day it was crawling with them.
Anyway I will persist with the neem oil mixture. I don't think it's an instant solution so hard to tell if it's working.
I also received some RHS Bug & Mildew Control spray, today.
Will let you know if I have any success. Will try to be scientific.
