Hi I have made this bench with arch and would like to make it look pretty and eye catching all year round! I would like pinky colours! I have considered Passion flowers, roses, clematis Armandii, Jasmine! What would you suggest and what combination? Also would you plant the same on both sides and would you plant more than one thing on each side?

    Is that it's final position, and if so are you planning to lift some slabs to make room to plant? Unfortunately most permanent climbers don't do well in containers (it's a subject that comes up quite often on here). I believe there are some smaller clematis suitable for containers but they might not get tall enough to go over the arch. Can you also tell us which way it faces, as different plants like different amounts of sun/shade.
