Thanks for replying. I bought this already in flower then the petals began to droop so i thought id killed ot by overwatering but knew it would come back next year as its a perennial. Ive since found more new buds coming through so just wondered how often it will flower during the warmer seasons?
It should flower over the summer but, if you drown it, it's will die. They like well-drained soil and, given the right conditions will last several years.

It should flower from May to July ... given appropriate care and weather conditions etc.
It's a perennial so although it'll die down over winter it should come back in the spring.
