Fungi identification

Can anyone please help identify this fungus?

It is a quite rigid, jelly-like fungus that forms masses of bowl/ cup shaped fruits, ranging in size from pea sized to larger than a golf ball. I think it came in on a bulk sack of peat- free compost that I recently purchased.

Will it do any harm to my plants?

    Yes, it's a cup fungus but won't do any harm.  In fact, it is helping by breaking down the woody matter in the compost into forms which the plants can take in as nutrients.  Most of the fungi (mycelium) is actually within the soil and those are just the fruiting bodies which can be easily removed if considered unsightly, but they'll disappear on their own in a few days. :)
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    Thanks so much Bobthegardener. I want my garden to be as natural as possible, so it can stay...another species for the garden 😁. Just needed to make sure it wasn’t going to kill things, I manage that by myself ☺️
