Hi my laurels look heathy and I water regularly but can’t understand why the odd leave turns yellow, I know you shouldn’t over water but it’s been so dry recently and they are in a dry part of the garden....is it watering or a iron deficiency?? Thanks!

Deciduous trees do it all at once in the autumn.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
As @Dovefromabove says - perfectly normal.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
A layer of mulch - bark/compost or similar - whatever you can get hold of, and add it after a really good watering. Helps to preserve that moisture too
