Anyone still using Phostrogen plant food?

young codgeryoung codger Posts: 543
I first started using  Phostrogen plant food in the 1970s when growing vegatables at home.
Back then in was in quite  a  small box-maybe about 6" × 4".

The last one I bought came in a 4kg orange tub (see photo). I got this in the early 90s when I used to grow lots of shrubs. It is almost empty now.

I recenty stocked up with some yesterday from Wilkos. They have this offer on- 3x800g size boxes for  ten quid.  That works out at approx   £3.33 per box. I got 6 boxes. Much cheaper than e  bay and other online retailers.  If you use this stuff, grab yourself a bargain!

I agree it's good stuff and it dissolves quickly too.
I remember it well from the 70's and before that I think.
If it wasn't any good it'd not still be around 50 yrs later.

I've been using it for as long as I can remember, going to have to get my 'personal shopper' to visit Wilkos as soon as!  Thanks for the heads up  :)
