Can I save this plant for my back garden

pinkapantspinkapants Posts: 15
Hello I took a few of these from a 1mx3x bed that I inherited and am replanting the bed. Is there any way to save these until putting them in the back garden or any tips?
Anyone know what it is?

Keep them well watered and in the shade. They should survive.

In a pot until I get the spot ready?

If you've got a couple of spare pots, yes. Then give them a good watering !   :)

Put in a pot large enough to contain the roots, packing round them with compost. Thoroughly soak them and position them in a shady spot. Water heavily to saturation every day initially, after a couple of weeks their roots will recover a bit and you can ease off (but keep them watered and in shade in any case). Probably wait until early autumn to plant them in their final location.
