I bought this as a stick with leaves last year, it now has lovely small flowers. I must have liked it a lot because I have 2 lol

It is a Deutzia sp or named cultivar.
Will be far happier planted into the ground.

Thanks, I needed to find out what it was first, will plant into ground in a few weeks, hopefully we'll have had rain by then. Ground is rock hard

Flowers look identical to mine - here's what it will look like in a few years - just started flowering. That's a 4ft tall hollyhock growing in front so you can estimate the mature size:
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
