Help my wilting balsam please?!

Hi everyone!

I am quite new to the gardening world and looking for advice. I recently purchased a small balsam from the garden centre, all was well for a few days until I moved the plant into the sunlight for a couple of days and it is now wilting extremely! It can’t be due to lack of water as it was watered daily however I wonder, could it be over watering (the pot was hole-less to begin with) or sunburn? If so, how do I remedy this! There is plenty online for underwatered wilting but not so much for over watered. I have now created 3 drainage holes and moved the plant to a more shaded area but 3 days later and no improvement. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

It's certainly very odd as @pansyface says, and I agree - I'd be asking questions at the GC.
It looks as if there's a lot of foliage and a very small pot, which also makes things difficult. Over watering can cause as many problems as under watering, but I think it needs to be in something bigger.
Hard to see from your pic though. Also, when you say balsam, which plant are you talking about? I only know the horrible Himalayan one  ;)

Ah - that's why I don't recognise it then @Dovefromabove. Don't grow any houseplants except for foliage ones.  :)

I used to grow balsam from seed years ago to use as summer bedding plants
Same family as busy-lizzie and likes similar conditions.
