What's happened to my red campion?

Hi all, so I woke up this morning and my red campion in deep pots (I have 2 pots) were ok while the sun was on them, the leaves were a bit wilted but nothing over dramatic! I have just looked now and one  is really wilted just checked soil it's fine a bit damp but not overly and is due a water later on anyway! I'm was wondering if it's the position it's in as I think the other pot campion gets more sun than this one although they dont like too much but I think the wilted pot is  getting roughly about 1 hour of sunshine a day! Is this too little for it? Will post a pic

Red campion runs wild all over my garden, it has had only 1 day of decent rainfall since March and nothing whatsoever from me and the plants are sturdy with large lush green leaves and lots of flowers on plump stems.
Yours looks starved and drought stricken. It would have done much better if you had just stuck it in a border and forgotten about it!

Do you know what, I was thinking maybe I should have just put them in  my flower bed so I might just do that now! 🙂

They are wild flowers, they don't need pampering in pots, just some soil between their toes :)

I know I was just giving it ago seeing what happens! My garden is really, really crazy paved so quite alot of my plants are in pots and I have 1 flowerbed that used to be a pond so when I want flowers dotted about here and there I tend to try and pot ones I like but obviously I wasnt being very realistic! Lol! 😁
