Very much so, a really nice long flowering easy to grow shrub. Prune if need be after flowering, cutting out the oldest shoots which have flowered to encourage new growth from low down in the shrub.

I agree with
@Palustris
. Definitely a keeper. I have two in a mixed hedge. One is Bristol Ruby and the other is Weigela Florida variegata.
