Polytunnel

Hi all, I've just built myself a 12m x 12m polytunnel and I was just wondering if anyone knew what gauge of polythene I can use. I have been offered a 259 micron (1000 gauge ) sheet will this be ok.

    We have had a polytunnel for about 15 years now and the polythene was 720 g. It is getting to the point that we will have to replace as the pigeons delight on landing on the roof and we have had to cover over their feet piercings!
    We use it a great deal all year round for veg.
