Patio design help

Any suggestions for painting one back  fence colour here? Trellis covers gap in fencing so not sure about paining that too.
Also some plant advice to brighten area once new patio done would be appreciated .Thanks

    What colour will the new paving be? If it's pale, I'd go for black paint on the fencing, very smart, would tone in with your seating and makes plants 'sing' against it.
    If however you have chosen dark grey or black paving, then it could look rather dark so try a pale green perhaps.

    Thanks I had thought a dark colour to add a bit of contrast and great for any greenery too..thanks

    I would paint a dark colour like Lizzie said as make plants stand out more 
    I would choice eirther black or a dark charcoal grey like silver copse 
    I  have silver copse on fence and makes really makes things stand out ,I also have light grey Indian sandstone patio and all ties together nicely 
    I have similar garden sofa as yours
