Help with ID please. Not valerian off.

While it was small, I thought that this might be a self seeded valerian officianalis, but it's not. The leaves can be slighty reddish/purple/tawny around the edges. Any ideas?

    You've not had much luck with your ID😕 that thick stem to the right of the photo might help with id. Could it be something like angelica?

    That would be amazing, but the leaves look wrong for angelica. There's no sign of any flower buds, but it does look like it would make for an interesting flower, whatever it is. It's taking up a big pot, so I have to either stick with it or toss it now.

    Angelica takes two years to grow so you wouldn't see a flower yet.
    Admittedly, it does look weedish. You could work on the principal that anything that grows fast and in furiously rude good health is either a weed or a potato😉
