Advice on grass seed please

I have several rather bald patches on my lawn (where I have cut back shrubs etc). One of these is a particularly shady spot underneath an apple tree. Can anyone give me advice on the best seed mix to use? I would like it to be quite high quality with minimum rye grass (no kids or dogs).
