Lawn care
Hi all
I guess my OCD is kicking in as I cannot stand looking at my grass due to the odd patches of grass I have all over my lawn. Wonder if anyone could shed light on what these patches are and if they Are weeds and how do I get rid of them.
They are almost a dull green colour and have thick leaves compared to the other strands of grass. Doing some googling it points towards crabgrass but not sure if that's correct. Ideally want to get my lawn looking like a bowls green
TIA

Is there anything I can put on it to kill it off then rake it out?
Failing that try verticutting, hire or buy a mower to do this, has vertical cutting blades which cuts the lawn vertically. The only cheap model is by Bosch, otherwise Allet make mowers with interchangeable cassettes. Depends how big a problem it is and if it’s worth the cost.
I verticut my lawns at least once a month, it also lifts and cuts runners, help with thatch build up.
