    I think gardening is about instinct and gut feeling after years of experience don`t you agree,  Fairygirl?   I believe we can risk a few more ideas the further south we are maybe ;)

    I wouldn't know - I live in the west of Scotland. Very different from the south  ;)
     
    It's also about local climate and conditions, and knowing what suits. 
    I've no idea where the OP lives either, or what the general conditions of the garden and the local area are. Always best to be cautious with advice in those circumstances, especially when someone is unsure.  :)

    Indeed it is, I think Fairygirl can look after herself though without you wading in.
    I hope for an enjoyable and constructive time on here.  Maybe those of us in lockdown for months more need to have friendly chat so let`s put this difference behind us :'(:)
