Weeds in newly seeded lawn
Hi guys, I had my lawn seeded for the first time. The front was done 27 days ago and the back was done 24 days ago. There is a fair amount of weeds growing now and I’ll include some pictures. I’m the definition of a novice gardener and was just wondering if I should pull the weeds. I’ll be able to get a lot of them without walking on the grass but there are some sections I won’t be able to reach and would have to walk on the grass to pull them. This is my first garden and my first house and from reading up about this issue some websites say I should pull the weeds if I can and others say I should leave it alone as mowing will get rid of a lot of the weeds. Just wondering what is the best option. There seems to be 2 types of weeds, a grassy one and then in patches there’s loads of a smaller leafy one. I’d be happy enough to spend the time going round and pulling them and hopefully the grass will crowd out future weeds. Thanks for the help guys. Much appreciated.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Most of us do put up with the odd weed here and there. It can become a chore rather than a pleasure if you get too bothered by it. Over time, weeds seed in too, so it's just a case of removing the most annoying ones, and accepting the others, unless you want to spend hours and hours on it.
