Pesky Cats....!!

My darling cats had a dig around last month in a new border I had made!  I now realise this because the wildflower seeds I had put down have all come up in clumps!! Grrrr!!  I think I know the dreaded answer to this question, but should I thin these right out and discard the leftovers?  Think I overdid the seed-sowing  indoors in trays too.....got so many antirrhinums, love in a mist and aquilegia seedlings that I'll probably give them away to passers by at the end of my path!  Anyway, here are the 'clumps'......

The poppies on the top photo need thinning to a few inches apart. They don't transplant well at all.  Bottom left on the bottom photo appears to be a strong french marigold. That will transplant well.  Again thin the rest to a few inches apart. If you are not brave try two inches apart to start, then thin further when you decide what to keep.

Water well after thinning to settle the soil again.

Thanks Fidgetbones!  I'll crack on with that then after I finish work today! That's a great help, I didn't even realise what plants I had!! :#<3
