Courgette leaves - something wrong?

The last couple of days I've noticed some leaves on my courgettes plants going discoloured. Any idea what it might be? They've been outside during the day for about a week and have spent one night (last night) out to prepare them to be planted out this weekend. Is there anything wrong with them? Or are they just affected by some of the hot sun we've been having?

I'd guess either spider mites or sunburn but I'm leaning towards spider mites...

Hi @Sabina13. I've had a close look at each affected leaf and theres nothing that looks like mites or any insect or web or residue of any kind. So hopefully just sunburn!

I do hope so! I'm currently dealing with spider mites (I had to chuck a cucumber plant I started early due to it) so I know the chaos they cause.

Oh I will say keep your eye on it over the next few weeks as with my cucumber, growth was fantastic for the first 6 weeks or so then it suddenly stopped and that was my first clue something was wrong. I examined each leaf and there was nothing on them so I left it.. and when I next checked about 2 or 3 weeks later the entire plant was crawling with them.

What horrible things! I'll definitely keep a close eye. I hope you had some other veg to nurture after their demise?!
