Laurel Bush

The leaves on several of our laurels are starting to go like this.  There is still some new growth appearing but wonder if anyone can give any advice as to the cause and cure if any.

I'm afraid it is too small to see the leaves properly. Do they have mini holes on the leaves? If yes, it's probably shot-hole disease. If they are black spots, it's probably some sort of fungal leaf spot. Common on Cherry Laurels. They look unsightly but unlikely to do lasting damage to your shrub.

It's more important to rake away any leaves lying around the base and lay new covering of mulch. Stressed shrubs due to drought conditions or damp poorly ventilated areas may make your shrub more susceptible to diseases.

Apologies about photo. There are no holes just the brown and black markings.  Thanks for advice.
