When you re-pot it, use a mixture of about three-quarters John Innes#3 (which is a loam/soil-based compost mixture designed for long-term planting) and an ericaceous (acidic) compost to ensure the soil is slightly acid.  JI#3 may be ok on it's own but some can be slightly alkaline which camellias don't like, as @Fairygirl mentions.
You are best to use an ericaceous feed, usually in liquid form which you need to dilute and is often labelled as Rhododendron & Azalea food.  This will more easily be taken-up by the plant than a general purpose type and will help promote flowering, although for next spring as it has finished for this season.  To also help with flowering, make sure it doesn't go short on water in summer/autumn as drought conditions then will stop it producing flower buds for the spring.  :)
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
