Wooden arch for rose collapsing

In the recent high winds my wooden arch that is a “few” years old was loosened from the ground. The rose was there when I bought the house so I don’t know what type it is but it is about to go into full pink bloom. I’m not sure how I can rescue this and change the arch or wedge it up till after it’s flowered then cut right back. Please help!

The same thing happened to me last year.  I pruned the 2 roses back to about 5ft and replaced the arch.  The roses both recovered and are better than ever this year.
Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands
  • I may have to just trim them back, it’s so full though this year I’m loathe too!
  • Thank you, I’ll try to do that tomorrow and get a good look. Maybe able to salvage as the post that has lifted doesn’t look rotten.

Can I ask how long it has been up?
