Morning Glory Hardening Off?

Hi all, this may seem like a really simple question and probably something I'm totally overthinking but...

I sowed my morning glory seeds far too early (March), as well as outdoors. They germinated, I pricked them out and put them into individual 9cm pots to grow on a bit, still outdoors. Once they'd grown on I planted them into a large pot with canes to grow up. Then they began to really suffer from the cold of a night and the leaves were turning white and shrivalled so I brought them into the conservatory where they've been growing on really well, they seem to be growing inches overnight!

Anyway my question is, now its beginning to warm up of a night, is it safe to put them outside? And do I need to harden them off? Its just that they're in a really big heavy pot and it'd be so laborious to take them out and in everyday. Could I just open the conservatory doors and slide the pot to the doors everyday?

Thanks in advance and sorry for babbling!

I planted mine out yesterday, but I had been doing the hokey cokey with them for a few weeks beforehand.
If you're not sure, I'd put them outside during the day and in at night. It also depends how far north you are as well,I suppose.

That’s what I did ( although mine were still in small pots) cos there was just no room left on the terrace .... I planted them in their big pots with canes yesterday cos last night was forecast to be really quite mild ... and it was. They seem perfectly happy today
    good luck 🤞

"hardening off Morning Glory" My lips are sealed.
    Devon.
  • Forecast for 11 degrees tonight and it'll get higher towards June so I may just put them out tomorrow and see how they fare overnight (can't be bothered moving the bloody big pot out tonight😂).

@B3 @Dovefromabove Thanks to you both. Can't wait to see their flowers!

I put mine outside for the first time today. I'll fleece them for the first few nights just in case, but it should be mild enough for them now (it's been too hot for me today).
