Unidentified strain in wildflower mix

Hi
So I bought a wildflower mix which I sprinkled on a patch of my garden where I wanted a wild look. Seems to be working well, but there is one plant which seems to be dominating. I’m not quite sure what it is, so before I start ‘thinning’, I just wanted to check. Any ideas?

    Not sure, but flax possibly?

  • Thanks. Just checked on the packet and flax is amongst the 70 strains in the mix, so could well be.

I think Corncockle might grow a bit like that, too?  I remember it getting very tall, but haven't grown it for 30 years!

It looks very much like corncockle. Ours has just come into flower.
A great wildflower to have in your garden.
  • Update. It was corncockle. Good call Bob/Bertrand
