alderman pea plants

my alderman pea plants are nearly at the top of my netting, almost 5 feet tall, can i pinch the top out to stop them being too overgrown and tangled, also will this encourage them to bush out and get more flowers further down the plant.
any advice welcomed

Jealousy! mine are all of 6 inches high. just about to put in their fencing. But yes you can pinch them out, not sure if they will bush out or not as mine never made it all the way up before they started to die down.

stevensjonathan1124  I was chatting to a chap once who was growing them up canes - because they grow up to 8ft tall.  They're a regular variety for him and he saves his own seed year on year, hence he's prepared for tall growth but that gives you their potential.
