Sons seed from nursery identification help please??

So my 3 year old brought home  a little pot with a seed that he’d planted and over the last 4-5 months it’s been growing really well. I’ve repotted it and everything but I still haven’t the foggiest idea what it is???? Any ideas guys??

    Does it feel slightly sticky to the touch? It looks to me like a really healthy pot marigold. it might have some flowers coming as well if you look in the middle (If I am correct of course)

    Nah it’s not at all sticky... I took a closer look and it does seem to have one bud appearing in the middle though 😃

    I think it's a marigold, aka Calendula.  I see a bit of product placement going on there, too, but it goes well with Marigolds!

    Product placement???? I presume you mean the bottle of Zoflora?? 😂😂😂 completely accidental I swear ha ha
