What is causing transclucent brown spots on my perpetual spinach?

Should I be concerned by the leaf below, or is it just sun damage?

The blotch only appears on one side of the leaf,

It looks like leaf miner damage to me, it's not generally any real issue just pull of any leaves showing it.

Agree, I had the same on my beetroot.  If a mark is still small, you can often see the miner inside and crush it within the leaf (depends on how much time you have on your hands!) ;)
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

Ugh the bain of my gardening life, the leaf minor! I detest them, it feels icky to eat any leaf with LM damage on it so I stand there by the sink for what feels like an eternity looking through every single individual leaf of my salad and tear out the parts with eggs or squiggles. Ugh.

Have I said ugh yet

It almost makes me not want to grow any leafy green next year.
