Drooping flowers on Lichfield Angel

Hello,

My Lichfield Angel is flowering really well but the flower heads are very droopy so we are mainly looking at their backs (it only grows to around 4ft). Any advice on how to get sturdier stems, to perk up the flowers or support tricks we could use?

thank you

...it's actually 'Lichfield Angel', without a 't'... but if you care to look on my Notes thread, you will find several pictures of my rose, which I grow in a pot..

...early blooms, i.e. the first flush, the petal count is very heavy on this rose, consequently the stems they are on cannot always support them in bunches, and they hang down, and often face the floor, which is why it's better to grow it in an elevated position... but later in the season, the petal count is lower, and you will find the blooms all face upwards...

Whoops apologies  @Silver surfer didn’t realise I hadn’t written rose after the name.

Thanks @Marlorena, I did see some of your pictures of your Lichfield Angel. We didn’t realise this was a droopy one until after it was bought and planted but we love the colour. Will keep my fingers crossed that they’re perkier as you predict with the next flush of flowers.
