Front Garden Goals

I just stumbled upon this guy's blog... stunning photos and what an absolutely outstanding front garden! Even the roadside verge is incorporated, so the pavement is like a path through a public garden. Must be quite a local attraction!

    How lovely and kind.
It reminds me a bit about the roadside Buddha story

I'm sort of trying to do a similar thing - trying to inspire neighbours to take up their concrete at the front. I have planted under the street trees and used as much space in my v small front garden as I can. I'm going for mostly drought tolerant and wildlife planting so that interested neighbours can take cuttings etc without worrying about having to water much. It's a work in progress but it's good to have it this summer - with everyone at home and interested suddenly in gardening.

This is one of my favourite esisodes of BDSS, where a lady opens up and transforms her front garden into a 'free to pick your own' veg garden.  I like having a boundary, but I also want to inspire locals, esp kids.
