Help please, first attempt gardening and I’m worried I have killed everything I planted!

Hi, I have planted several things in my new border over last week or so and I think they are all looking in a very sorry state and not sure what I have done wrong, any advice would be much appreciated! What have I done and can I save them?

We might need a bit more detail!  Or some photos ideally?

Hello Kirsty and welcome to the forum. Is it possible for you to upload a picture to show us the plants so that we can make suitable comments?

Looking at that picture Kirsty, I do not think that you need to be overly concerned. The weather has been rather unkind to new plants what with the wind and the heat we've had over the last few days. Just make sure that your plants are well - and regularly - watered until they have settled in.

Just make sure you give them a good drink of water every two or three days. A good soak twice a week is better than a sprinkle every day. If they look dry water them. In a heat wave you will need to water every day.
