Please help: kalanchoe disease/pest

I have had my 4 kalanchoes for around 2 years now and they have generally been fine. I had issues with aphids last summer and this spring noticed them again so quickly treated them all (as they all sit together on the window sill - 1 gets sick, they all get sick).
Around the same time I noticed the aphids I also noticed some tiny black spots appearing on the edges of the leaves. Over the last 2 months the black spots seem to be increasing on some leaves and the leaves on all of the have started to yellow and fall off.
I've tried to include photos that show how the spots start and what they progress to.
I've searched Google for images that look similar but haven't found any definitive answers as to what it might be and what to do. Black fungus was probably the closest description. But I was also wondering if it could just be damage from the aphids?
Any/all advice and suggestions welcome. Please and thanks
