DELPPHINIUIM PLUGS
in Plants
I recently bought some small delphinium plugs for £5 and thought I would give them a go. I potted them in 9cm pot and to my surprise they have all survived and grown . Now do I re pot them ( to what size),when and for how long or do I plant them out straight away
which I suspect may be too soon. I leave them outside at the moment and only bring them in at night. Thanks

If they were mine, I'd pot them on again- just a slightly bigger pot for them. They can be real slug fodder, so if they're a bit bigger and sturdier, they can cope more easily.
They'd be ready to plant out later in the year.
I think you could harden them off a bit more though - especially once they're in the bigger pots. By the end of the month, they could be outside somewhere sheltered. It's just a case of timing really. I often just stick anything a wee bit iffy under a chair or similar.
Just keep an eye out for slugs
