Help with plant identification please

lesjsmith5lesjsmith5 Posts: 2
This has grown straight from the soil beside a pot plant from last summer. I can’t remember what original plant was but it remains dormant bare wood, no buds have appeared. I hoped it was the original plant resurfacing but I’m concerned it is something that shouldn’t be there! It has hairy stems. I live in Cornwall if the region is relevant. Many thanks for any help. It has grown very quickly which makes me suspicious!

Thank you, I’m grateful for your replies. I will look after it and assume it is a begonia. I’m sure I had a non stop variety last year. Really appreciate your advice.
