Planters drainage

I got two big tier planters for salad and herbs 
guy done a amazing job ,he drilled holes at bottom of planters for drainage 
they also been lined too to protect the wood 
but he’s not put holes in liner will I need do that 
silly question 🙈🙈

    Yes, you need to pierce holes in the liner where the holes are on the planter and no it's not a silly question.

    Yes - vital. But also make sure they're up off the ground for assisting the drainage  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
