Pesky pigeons

Any ideas to keep pigeons of of veg plants.

    And use a framework or canes with balls on the top to keep the netting well above the plants, or the pigeons will simply land on top and peck through the netting.  I found that out the hard way.
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
