Advice please on material to use to raise and level ground at back of garden

What material could I use to successfully raise and level the ground at the back of my garden?

Once level, I will put some weed suppressing fabric down, followed by two 2m raised beds on top and child-friendly chip bark elsewhere.

The area is roughly 5m x 2m.

I need to raise the ground as a whole - in some places only by 2 inches (5cm), in some places by about 6 inches (15cm).

I've spent quite a lot on my new raised beds and top soil / manure for them, so want to try and avoid too much additional expense :#

Sorry but your photo doesn't make  anything clear at all. Surely if it's only a matter of inches you can level up with your raised bed foundations and in the bark areas just put more on.

    Thanks for the reply.

Is there any further information I can provide to assist?

One thing I can add - I've had to remove a lot of stones (each about 3cm across) and old weed fabric to clear this ground (as I had no idea what was underneath).

My thought was that weed suppressing fabric on top of these stones (with chip bark on top of that) would not be very stable, but if I am wrong please let me know!

From your photos I can't see enough stones to worry about. I assume that they were laid on top of membrane as a path so why not wash and reuse them?
If you are doing 4m of raised bed in a 5m space why the need for child friendly bark there's not enough room for a play area.
How high are your raised beds going to be?
Small stones dug in in the bottom helps with drainage.
Can you post your photos in your thread along with info  where the raised beds will be or post a diagram.
