In need of some help with my eucalyptus gunnii!
Hey everyone! I would really appreciate some help! I’ve recently been given a beautiful, young eucalyptus but unfortunately, it doesn’t seem very happy.
It has small insects/mites on the new leaves and red dots on the old. I’ve washed the leaves with mild soap and water and I’ve tried to remove as many bugs as I can.
Can anyone help and advise me on what I should do?
Thank you in advance 😀

Eucalyptus are tough as old boots and so are the leaves, they also contain oils which insects don't like. So you can ignore them.
They do grow into huge trees.
I bought one for £1.99 and 20 years later it cost £700 to have it shortened, and 10 years after that cost £1100 to have it removed completely when it got to over 100ft. I now I have a stump nearly 6ft in diameter in my garden. So be warned.
Your best plan is to keep it down to about 6-8ft then it'll keep the pretty grey-green round foliage.
