NewBoy2NewBoy2 Posts: 1,813
Sorry if you Old Pros have had this one before.

6 x 4 foot 12 inches deep pond ( no fish ) with that tiny green pond weed on the surface

I am constantly removing it.

? Does anyone have a product that you find works please.

I have tried barley extract and I replaced all of the pond water last autumn.

I chuck watercress into mine. Feeds on the nutrients. Just chuck a couple of handfuls in - or a bagful if necessary. The stuff out the supermarket.
Not really warmed up much here yet though, but it will in a few weeks or so I expect.

It will tend to heat up and then be more susceptible when it's so shallow too.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Is it algae? If so, try Algexit. It's designed for aquariums but works great in ponds.
