Hi, can someone I'D the first pic for me please, the leaves are hairy and have a strong smell.
2nd pic, the blue flowers (name slipped from my mind lol) should I Dead head or leave the lovely seedheads. Thanks..o

Centaurea - knapweed, for that one
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Stachys sylvatica, Hedge woundwort. Pretty purple flowers but you are right, it does smell!

I don’t totally deadhead the centaurea ... I leave done because the goldfinches love feeding on the seeds.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
