Chitting potatoes have turned green
in Fruit & veg
Hope this isn’t a daft question but I’ve been chitting potatoes on my windowsill for the past 2 weeks and in the past couple of days they’ve turned very green! Is this normal? I know you can’t eat green potatoes as they’re poisonous but will this effect the rest of the crop? Also how will I know when they’ve chitted enough to plant them? Totally new to this so any advice would be fab!
Thanks!
