White chilli pepper leaves

Leaves of my most mature plants have/are starting to turn white. Doesn't really look like any of the common problems/diseases, I am running out of ideas and options. 

I've ruled out fungus & pests, I'm starting to believe it might actually be sunscald? 

Any help would be greatly appreciated :( I really don't want them to die!

    I agree - a touch of sunburn - better fish out your net curtains :)

    Cool, thanks, I'll reduce sun exposure during the maximum heat hours. The room gets really warm too, heat in itself without direct sunlight would be a problem?

    I'm also finding it really strange that only the biggest plants are affected.

    Just away from direct sun on the window sill will be good - the skies are so clear and the sun almost at its strongest now. Plants are flagging all over my garden atm.
    Warmth is always good for chillis
    Once the flowers start to open use a tomato feed every 7-10 days
