Can I Chelsea Chop phlox and sedum when i only planted the potted specimens 1 mth ago?

Or will it be too much stress for the plants? Should I wait until next year?

    Depends on the sedum as there are quite a few different types. Generally though only established ones that are planted in a flower bed witb too rich a soil need chopping. I've never had a problem with potted ones getting too big.
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
