To chop a hardy geranium

jayne10bjayne10b Posts: 105
I have a hardy geranium in a pot which has been lovely this spring.

However, it is now looking a little past its best - quite leggy and straggly.  If I chop it back to the base, do you think it would resprout and reflower, or is it done for this season and should be left alone?

TIA

Most of them can be cut back and will produce new foliage. Some may flower again, but that will depend on the variety, and your local climate.  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
