Can anyone identify this Iris variety?

  • Thank you Silver Surfer, close , but mine has got a subtle blue on the white petals. Probably hard to see in my photo

    I grow Iris White City which has the same lavender hue to the white flowers which look like ghostly butterflies at dusk.
    But the falls of mine don't have as much yellow as in your photo.
    Maybe one of the parents of White City

  • Could very well be , I may never know for sure. 
    I have inherited a few unnamed plants & this is the first to flower. I think I’m in for an infuriating couple of years!
