  I don't think your rose issues are not the same as Big Blue Sky's roses. I think your rose has Rose Mosaic Disease. It's a virus that is most likely caused by an infected grafted root stock. Other than the strange colouring, it does not affect the plant's growth. Sometimes, they are more present in the spring to early summer-time, and by mid-summer, the leaves tend to go back green. 
  
  The other leaves that are brown and grey looking, most likely damage due to watering or spraying something whilst the sun is out. Avoid watering or spraying anything over-head in sunny weather. That can damage and fry the leaves when the sun is out.
