Connecting a 45mm downpipe to a water butt
Hi
I am trying to set up my 1st water butt system but the connector kits all seem to be made for a standard 68mm downpipe.
Is there any way to get it to work on a 45mm downpipe or will i need to replace my guttering to get it it work ?
Thanks

Might have to tape or glue it in place as it won't be an exact fit but it might work
otherwise you could get a little bit of 68mm tubing and either one or 2 of these (only one is really needed for the bottom pipe, the top one can remain 40mm):

should look roughly like this:
