Black beasties on sweet pea

Hi, this is my first time growing plants in the garden, I moved my sweet peas 2 days ago from one part of the garden to the other, I just checked on them and there is tiny little wee beasties on the swet pea, does anyone know wat they are and what I do to get rid of them? I have a cat so must be safe for her, also a lot of snails going about.
Thanx in advance

Fi xx

Looks like aphids. You could use  washing up liquid in water and spray the plants. Safe for you, the plants and the cat.

That's Brill thank you, I will go get a spray bottle now xx
  • I recently boiled some rhubarb leaves, cooled the toxic water (do not ingest!) and sprayed on with a mister. I have two cats and all went fine :). However the RHS told me that lady birds + other natural predators that come through in June are the best option!
